About

Meet Carleen

Carleen Murone is the founder of Living Well in SWFL — a Lifestyle and Wellness Advocate, real estate advisor, and creator of the Living Well Now and Living Well Forward frameworks.

Her background spans wellness, spa, functional nutrition, business, and real estate. Across each chapter, the through-line has stayed the same: helping people create healthier, more intentional lives — in their bodies, in their homes, and in the places they call home.

Carleen believes that living well is more than a wellness checklist. It includes the food on your table, the rest you actually get, the community around you, the home you walk into, and the choices you make for the years ahead.

Living Well in SWFL is her way of bringing all of that together — calmly, beautifully, and grounded in Southwest Florida life.

Founder Story

From building businesses to building a life well lived

Long before Living Well in SWFL had a name, I was already doing the work — just in different rooms. I spent years as a business owner, learning what it takes to build something from the ground up: the early mornings, the late nights, the joy of serving people well, and the quiet exhaustion that comes when you pour into everything except yourself.

That experience taught me something I never forgot: success without wellbeing isn't really success at all. So I turned toward wellness — not as an escape, but as a foundation. I trained in functional nutrition, immersed myself in spa and wellness culture, and began helping people reconnect with their bodies in deeper, more meaningful ways. I watched clients shift not just what they ate or how they moved, but how they saw themselves. That transformation became the heartbeat of everything I wanted to create.

Over time, another truth surfaced. The people I was working with weren't just asking about health — they were asking about home. Where should I live as I get older? How do I stay close to family without losing my independence? What does it mean to "rightsize" without feeling like I'm giving something up? Their questions mirrored my own, and they opened a door I hadn't expected.

I began guiding people through real estate decisions with the same care I brought to wellness conversations — not as a salesperson, but as an advisor who genuinely wanted them to land in the right place for the season they were in. That work became Living Well Forward: a thoughtful approach to aging, home, equity, and planning that honors both where you've been and where you're going.

Living Well in SWFL was born from all of these threads woven together. It's not a wellness brand. It's not a real estate business. It's a belief that living well is a whole-life practice — one that shows up in your body, your home, your community, and your choices for the future.

Southwest Florida is where I chose to root this work, because it's where I chose to root my own life. The light here, the pace, the water, the warmth — it all reminds me that living well isn't about chasing perfection. It's about creating a life that feels like yours, in every season.

Because living well isn't just about where you live. It's about how you live.
